Meet the Doctor

Dr. Robert Smith

 

Dr. Smith and his wife Dawn married in 1997. They live in Forks Township with their five children. Maria and Robert are both college students, followed by Isaiah in 2007, Andrew in 2010 and Rebekah in 2012.  All the children were born at home or with the assistance of a midwife, and all are homeschooled.

Dr. Smith received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Wheaton College in Illinois, graduating Cum Laude. Dr. Smith then attended the National University of Health Sciences, graduating summa cum laude from their chiropractic doctoral program before completing an internship in 1998. During his educational career, Dr. Smith was honored with numerous scholarships and was named valedictorian of his class. In practice since 1999, Dr. Smith is also Board Certified in Chiropractic Rehabilitation since 2008, a distinction held by very few chiropractors in the United States.  In 2013 he was honored as a Select Chiropractor, voted one of the best Chiropractors in the Lehigh Valley.  In 2020, he became certified in Functional Movement Systems.

Mottos:  
"Change or Die", Dr. Rob desires to always continue learning and growing in practice.  Over the years he has stayed current with advances in the field of Chiropractic, learning Rehab techniques, Nutritional testing and interventions, and Soft Tissue techniques such as Gua Sha, Cupping, Kinesiotaping and use of massage guns.  

"Do what is right, not what is easy".  Whether it is making follow up calls to patients, issuing refunds, or researching questions patients have, Dr. Rob's goal is to take the time to do the right and best thing to put patients first and make sure he is providing comprehensive service.
